When it comes to car electricals, I know absolutely nothing. So when i thought about fitting a DVD player into my car, i thought i was doomed.

I've been looking on ebay and have seen this one:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/821-5-LCD-IN-CAR-IN-DASH-TV-MONITOR-MP3-VCD-DVD-PLAYER_W0QQitemZ120373899755QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Audio_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_In_Car_Audio_Players_PP?hash=item120373899755&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A15%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1308

and was wondering if anyone could tell me how easy it would be to fit. I know that i'll need a facia, that's not a problem, but I was also wondering if anyone had anything to say on whether it would suit the car.:D

I've got a 7inch motorised screen, flips out.
touch screen, dvd player, tv, mp3, sat nav, phone etc etc

I wouldn't be without it! everyone comments on it! one cool gadget.

Easy to fit to, just the same as a noraml headunit, and theres a handbrake wire, but if you put that on the earth cable it will work all the time even when driving. (y)

Not sure if this would help at all but I had a 3 screen set up in my Multiwagon - 2 screens on the rear headrests and a combined cd / DVD / MP3 player with 4 inch screen in the upper glovebox. If you fit the optional liner in the upper glovebox ( to mount the CD multichanger) the hole is DIN sized so the DVD player fitted in there - allows you to keep the original stereo set up and the passenger gets to watch DVD's on the move if you wire it up the right way. With 3 women in the car it was a godsend.

i use music video's. i download them and put hundreds on a dvd, and just have them playing!
my screen has full angle control. can adjust it up down left right etc

I have twin screens on the back of the headrests and a dvd player in the lower glove box . works great and keeps the kids happy .cost me £100 to have it all fitted that included all the cables hidden inside the seats .well worth the money in my opinion.
