I recently bought Vibrios allard intercooler and samco hosing and Fitted it on Tuesday. Quite chuffed as i did it all myself apart from a little welding that my mechanic mate did for me. He let me use his Garage to do it in thank god as it pissing down all day. It took me 8hrs to do.
I managed to squeese the bumper on without removing the slats. But i dont know wether to totally remove them and mesh the space or leave open but i'm worried i'l damage the intercooler.
heres a pic.
After i bought it i was reading about the temp probs he had with it so i was a little dubious about fitting it, but there has been no temp probs at all so far (touches a bit of wood). On normal driving it sits just over quarter mark and in traffic sits just under half way, however this is the winter :???: time will tell when summer comes
I noticed the boost holds a lot more and comes in strong. Biggest difference is the whistle of the turbo spooling up  i never heard it spooling like that before. Is this normal after fitting a FMIC.
I'm well happy with the result and the fact i got me hands dirty and did it me self
And a big thanks to my fiancee for getting it for my Crimbo
