General First wash - Isses plus adding decals

So decided to give my Sei its first wash, mainly because of all the dead bugs on the bonnet So its the first time I have managed to look in more detail at the car. Now I have a few issues, on the door edges there are many scrapes where the previous owner has let the door touch the ground/walls etc. Can I do anything about this? Will these become rust points? On the drivers door the is a few inch scrapes which isn't deep but are dirty and on a white car they look horrid. But I am sure they weren't there before I started washing, could the garage had used something to cover them up, if so what so I can do the same

Also I don't really want to mod the car, I prefer a clean, 'out of the box' car. However I have always liked the Fiat stripes up the bonnet and over the roof and down the boot, on passengers side. What do people feel about these? Will it look stupid as its more suited to the 500?

I think it's daft and you shouldn't get any rust problems unless the galvanization has been scratched off
