First modification of 2003

I'm back guys happy new year one and all!

So what have I missed over the last 2 weeks?

I came back from holiday and the first thing I went to do was go pick my car up from my mate (little Rob) dads body shop. He's done another top job too!!!

These pics don't do it justice it looks amazing It still needs meshing but I thought I'd show you guys a few pics any way.

As you guys can tell it rained a fair bit up in Wakefield last night.

Can any one guess what car this bonnet skin was meant for?? (si you already know so you've got to keep quiet hehe!)

when i first met you in Sheffield, i had an inkling,

then when i saw your posts on here, i became more sure,

Could be way out but looks a bit like a MK1 GT40 bonnet.

Mini Rob is right its th 206 WRC bonnet vent

when the bonnet skin turned up we didn't think it would work as the 206 bonnet is a different shape in turns or gradient at the front.

Credit to little Rob though he got it to work. It took hime 6 days and 2, yes 2 tubs of filler, a tub of which ended up on the floor after sanding!

Just incase any one else is thinking about it. Such was the amount of work envolved Jessops would have charged about 400 quid for it fitting under normal circumstance. They reckoned the F-50 vent would have been much easier to fit and would charge 200 quid to a normal customer.

Donnys gonna be a good one!

Think about it.............

Woman (most of which are models!) beers/food showing your car and general arsin about fot a whole weekend!!!! Oh and a massive nigh out on the lash! (though I'm not sure if Donny is the ultimate night spot!! hehehe) its not known in Yorkshire as a class night out thats for sure!!

What could be better all we need is a sunny weekend and were sorted! I can't wait.

Looking at the top photo Rod, how did you park so close to the wall without catching the rear of the car. Maybe it's an optical illusion or something, bonnet looks good though, would like to see a pic of the whole car.

Jon,

I put a haha in front of the post to simulate a joke. As in funny haha.

People can say the bonnet is crap in they want it dosen't bother me in the slightest as I am an adult and I can both give and take.

Amit is a differnt kettle of fish all together. Have a look through the archives at some of his many arguments and you probably won't be as quick to bring Amit into it.
