Ah yeah... lol I was just a kiddy, but I had to pay in my life saveings, my next PC was a 486SX. I do remember on my first PC I upgraded the video card's memory to a full megabyte, as the memory chips were literaly IC's that pluged into DIP sockets.

I also had one of the first generation Creative Labs CDROMs, the one with the removeable disk caddy.

Here's a bigger one. It's nice a reflective, but I like it.

It's probably a well known font, not sure, but it makes my car look eighties, but not as eighties as that 'sting' decal. That is truly 386.

Gonna have to try tracing that one in AutoCAD too....

Yup, Alex, it's a SA import. Those are plastic covers painted white, as are the bumpers. It had a huge after market black sliding sunroof, which I removed, and an interior colour code named 'tutti frutti', which looks very sporty. So whoever bought it new in SA would have been a real 'dude' you know? Super eighties, super camp, permed hair, short shorts, loved Magnum PI sort of guy...come to think of it, thats just like me hahaha
However, compared to an Italian assembled 2 door MK 2 it's a lot sloppier to drive.

Haven't got the link here, but did anyone from NZ see that mint white 1108 1993 with 22000km for sale on Trademe in the South Island. Went for just over 2k, but damn, if i'd been awake, I would have had it.

I remember my mum buying a phillips 386 laptop that ran 3.1 for around the 6knz mark. That was a lot of money back then. All I can say is I think my dad still has the bag...

I have no idea what you lot are on about, but then I did have an Acorn Electron (still got it, as well as a Spectrum 128 that I was given but never used).

I`ve still got 3 old PC`s, about 10 old hard drives & 2 old laptops, I`ve even got my old CRT monitors in the loft... got about 5 VCR`s, all my hifi seperates.... car parts... I dont even know exactly whats in my loft anymore no wonder my ceilings are bowing...

All I know is that I`ve got enough room on my 2 PC`s & laptop for my porn (2tb) & car pics (1tb)...
