Hi,I am looking for a starter motor for a Fiorino 1.7 Diesel 1995 made in Brazil.....
Also rear Brake Cylinders and shoes.....
I had trouble in the past when I replaced the steering rack,as there was a difference between the Italian and Brazilian versions....
All thoughts on this are appreciated(y),as I have tried motor factors in Ireland with no luck.....
Also emailed Fiat over a month ago and haven't got an email back..... (n)

OK,I have found a New starter motor on Ebay....Does anyone know if there was a difference between the Italian and Brazilian model with regard to the starter motor....
I know the steering racks were different as I found that out last year....(y)

Took the starter motor off.....
The Numbers on the housing -562 Bosch 0 001 110 085 12 volt...
The Numbers inside - 562 6 1 006 209538....
Emailed an Online Motor Factors....
There reply was that the Numbers matched Either a Golf or Polo and they think it must be a reconditioned unit in a different housing......
So used a very light sewing machine oil on the chrome shaft of the motor and polished it.
A small amount of light oil in the motor itself.....
Put it on starts first time better than ever.....

Would still be good to find the correct Numbers for the starter motor....

Anyway wont be using it for a while yet till Nania clears..(y)

Cleaned and oiled the old starter, refitted it and it is still working so I have not bothered getting a new one yet...
I have a new problem...
Fitted a new speedo cable 6 months ago and it has broken again...
This is the third one in 98,000 miles...
Has anyone else had similar problems...
The supplier I got the last cable from has not got any more..
Can someone recommend a company in Europe...
1995 1.7 Diesle 5 speed Brazilian RHD
Thanks (y)

No chance of that as I bought it with loads of other spares I could not get in Ireland from a dealer in England 3 years ago..so I would say warranty is well gone....
Have you any company you could suggest that I could order from on-line to post here...?
