General Finally got my Bravo! A Maranello Red 1.4 T-jet Sport!!!

So after months of being active on this forum I finally managed to get my hands on a very lovely Bravo! Must say that I love it VERY VERY much!

Guys, I'd like you to meet Olivia


I always planned to do mods straight away however I bought this Bravo and it went quite a bit over my planned budget, but I realised it was a good deal considering it has a low mileage of 18500km (11495.4 miles). So my mods will have to wait quite a bit, but I can't wait to get started on them and possibly create another 200bhp Bravo T-jet roaming around on this forum

Thanks Rob, it did cost quite a bit and that's why I don't have the money for ant expensive mods are the moment, so it will have to wait awhile. Might do a few cheaper mods in the mean time

Sometimes the cheaper mods come with the greatest satisfaction.

My £100 Alfa Romeo leathers give me far more pride and pleasure than my £500 wheels. Mainly because it took me two days modifying the runners to fit it all so I feel like I have put real passion and effort into my car making it personal

Don't spray the wheels - it won't improve them it would just waste cash. I think they look good two tone!

I am lookin for another set of exactly the same 18s to get them sprayed even if I just get the one just to see what they would look like in black against white

Dude black would look the dogs b******s! However, I think a dark gun metal grey would be even better.

Black against white will look amazeballs man. Can be varying shaded of blacks and dark greys. If I don't go for black, I might consider Bronze too. Rate it could look good.

Hmm I think to be on the safe side I would prefer to get just one exact same alloy get it sprayed and see,its just I don't want to loose out with the ones i got now as once there sprayed that's it you know what I mean

Yes I see your concern, cause you might not like it and you won't be able to go back to original. However, I think I have a solution... Try getting black plastidip, will be cheaper than buying another separate alloy and getting that professionally sprayed. So you'd actually be able to spray all 4 wheels to see if it could possibly work then remove it afterwards regardless of your final decision

Oh plastidip.how's that work i know matthew1990 did his bumper with it,how does it bond?

Plasti-dip basically creates a coat of paint that is rubbery like and can be peeled off afterwards. Although to get it to peel off you have to spray a few layers

It is indeed.

Cut it all short it is rubber that is dissolved into a thinner and sprayed onto items. It's then sticks and drys, it become solid and protects whatever is underneath whilst having the added bonus of colour changing.

When you're ready just start to pull it off and like rubber it all just peeps away.

Well from what I read, the more layers mean it's thicker and easier to peel off. I'm sure you could do one layer, but it will create a huge hassle for you to peel it off. And the thing is that Plastidip isn't that expensive so you might as well put a few layers to make your life easier. Yeah that does make sense, will give you quite a good idea for what you want

No you will need to build at least three thick layers on. But them wait 20 minutes for it to dry, if you don't like it. It will peel off in one big lump

If you just put one layer on it's too thin to peel.

In fact to apply it properly you need to apply the first coat very thin. So it gets about 50% coverage. That gives you like an adhesive layer. Then apply the next one thicker, then again and again. Final coat should be quick but thick to get the best texture

Search for Dip Your Car on YouTube, hundreds of videos and you will be thoroughly surprised what you can do with it.
