Technical Filters near windscreen wipers - what are they.

I thought the 3 filters under the three external grills next to the windscreen wipers where the pollen filters am I correct or are they something else?

That is my understanding of them aswell.

Yep they are, just got a quote of well over £60 for all three from Jordans (fiat main dealer) but getting them from puravent just over £22 for box of three.

What 3 filters? the pollen filter is a long rectangular one on the passenger side under the wiper scuttle. post a picture.

Not on my W reg 2 litre petrol they are outside just below the windscreen and this is confirmed by the FIAT workshop manual.
