General Fiiting an Airbox

Hi,
I'm think of fitting a new air box to my seicento and was wondering if i do so will i have to recalibrate anything and will there be any seroius negative affects to the car, or will it just simply work fine with the car?

It's really suck it and see.

See if it runs OK, if not try re-setting the ECU by removing the negative battery cable for 15 minutes or so. (Expect slightly rougher running for 100miles or so.)

If not, remap time. But it should be OK.

Ive never had any problems with the 4 airfilter setups ive tried

Also never had the rough running after resetting my ECU

Sometimes you can feel a slight (and it is slight) roughness on the MPI cars. The SPI cars don't seem to have the learning characteristics that the MPI ECU has and just get on with it, God bless 'em .
