Hi all, I have found and ordered a fiat uno inlet manifold for my sei sporting spi, just wandered how I go about fitting it? Do I need to modify anything at all?
Ordered it because I half heard they make a difference and was cheap lol.
Running a standard throttle body at the mo by the way as I can't yet afford a 40mm one sadly

Ok how do I go about porting it? Die grinder?
And how do I know if I've brought the right one lol. Will try get a picture up

yeah die grinder will work..

Bolt the cento gaskets onto the manifold and mark what needs taking off and then grind away. But remember you don't want it mirror polished after - leave the surface a bit rough - it helps keep the air and fuel properly mixed (thats uber simplified science but its the general gist of why they are not really smooth)

Ok thanks for the advice, does the manifold look like the right one before I get too excited?

Good that's a good start lol. Is there any noticeable gain from fitting it? Obviously I know would be a better gain if fitted with a 40mm tb which was my plan but due to financial I just can't do it yet which sucks

when i sorted doing it i never got round to fitting, it went on Eklipze3k's sei in the end - pretty sure he said it revs more freely than on the stock one.. Its not gonna make a massive difference as they are small low power engines but its all the little bits that add up to a big difference
