Hi there

My car has been driving fine until yesterday when the car just went off on the road. Having parked aside trying to start again the car was just cranking until I called the mech we checked the car everything was fine until I asked him to go inside and turn the key then I realized that the cranks and the belt were not turning and the bolt at the bottom crank shaft pulley is loose he tightened it still with no luck the car had to be towed back home. Today he removed the pulley and find out that the locker inside the shaft is worn out so it's not turning with the crank every time you turn the key its just slips and goes out of timing. I tried every spares shop for the crank to no avail unfortunately that's not on market anymore. Tried a scrap yard when I got there they took it out of an engine that's been taken of a running car but it looked like mine, we got to like 3 unos with the same thing the locker inside the shaft worn out to a point where the other guy said maybe they put them back with loctide and fastened the bolts so that it can no longer slip as the engines were still running. Is the any alternative way of doing it or anyone that has come across the same problem how did you overcome it. The car is working daily. I tried Midas and Autozone they dont have anything. I have attached a picture

I cannot see from your picture what is causing the problem. Can we have another view. Is there a separate lock washer?
Also talk to Shop4Parts (by phone). They have extensive knowledge of Fiats so will probably know how to solve the problem.
