that is what it was and i have just worked it out in the last half hour and it was as you say stuck in the cylinder, it has been a nightmare i got a new cylinder but as you can guess that was no good so was pulling my hair out by this time :bang: but i found the attached pic and could see from that there was as you have said a small o-ring missing so ordered one and got it today and just in the last hour finished it and i now have a working car, thanks to all that replied to my post.
