Hellooo! I’ve had my Tipo for about 6 years now (2017 plate) and it’s always the windows I have problems with, they have a mind of their own! I’ve had every window regulator replaced if not twice each over the years and now I cannot use my drivers winder. Cars been nicknamed Herbie.
If the drivers window goes down, it does not come back up until it randomly decides to work (which isn’t good with this rainy weather!). The back windows haven’t worked for a while, they do the same and go down and don’t come back up until the buttons randomly work. If the windows go down and I hear a crunch, I knows it’s the window regulator. The passenger window is the only safe window that works as it should.
Has anyone else had this problem? Finally got a bit of extra cash so I’ve booked it to go to the garage next week to figure the windows out, garage said it sounds like a faulty switch or it’s getting wet inside on the electrics but I can’t figure out where!
Sometimes I turn the car on and the back windows go down on their own, if I press the driver window it drops down further and further until it’s right in the door, tried every trick in the book to get it to go back up but it just seems to work when it wants.
if anyone has had this issue and managed to fix it, please help!x
