Technical fiat tipo sedicivalvole thermostat

hi boys.. my engine is 160A8 107kw/
did u ever change thermostat on these?? where i can order it coz i think need whole housing becouse its looks like one piece alltogether... thanks

If it's a Sedi you will most likely need a complete thermostat, in fact I'm 99% certain of it.

thats what im scared of. in northern ireland i cant get it nowhere. nothing in ebay... where i can buy it online??

Do you not have Halfords there mate? I bought my Sedici's thermostat from there a few weeks ago for 7 quid and the guy there didn't bat an eyelid (mind most Halfords employees are brain dead) wasn't a problem and two other Halfords in our area had the same part in stock - I checked.

Ask them - yeah wouldn't think a thermostat would be a problem, the Tipo engine is common to other Fiat cars.

Complete thermostat housing are the norm these days, Ricambio will be able to sort you but I'd expect a decent Autofactors to come up trumps.

Give Ricambio a call on Monday, they know their Fiats inside out.

I bought a new thermostat from Fiat without trouble. If I can buy one here in New Zealand im sure it should not be hard to get on in the UK!

There are different thermostats for the 16V head , make sure you got one for your car. I know Lancia ones are different.

ePer says it's out of production but there should be a fair few floating around. Depends if the dealer can be bothered to help or not.

yes, i called at Mervyn Stuart thats the fiat dealer in Northern Ireland and they sorted out for me... thanks for all help boys..
