Technical Fiat TIPO Digiplex

I have a Tipo I.6 engine and the ignition system is shot. does any one know if there is an aftermarket replacement for a digiplex or if I can convert the engine to run without the digiplex

I've never seen this on the 1.6 i.e. The ECU must be doing this from 1993. But Ebay set to Europe finds most things

My Tipo SX 1.6 ie May 1993 (SPI - single point injection) had a Digiplex unit.

for manual transmission the P/N was 7745672 - MED 474
for auto transmission the P/N: was 7745675 - MED 477

Digiplex free. So it can be done, but easier to find a new unit
