My Fiat Stilo JTD 2005 was working perfectly until my battery went low and i had to use a charger booster to start it, now i have lost my power steering and the warning light is on.

Ive checked fuses f02 and f24 under the bonnet are there any others to check or have i damaged the pas ecu?

I have disconected the battery for half an hour but this didnt change anyting

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi , and welcome,
I've read that the ECU's on stilo re-learn over several start-ups,

try letting all the check-lights extinguish before cranking / starting the engine, let idle for a minute,
turn off for a minute,
turn key to MAR once agian - wait for lights to extinguish, start , repeat a few times,

Good luck,
post your problem in STILO section too,

Charlie

On the battery positve side. There are Maxi fuses just next to the positive terminal. One of those maxi fuses is a direct live to the power steering motor. I suspect you may have popped the maxi fuse.

EPAS uses the 150 Amp Maxi fuse. The red one in this picture.
