Hi im new on this forum, exept i have read alot of tips here.
As the title explain, i have the got da***** ASR, loose conection. I have used hours, both online looking for tips, and offcours hours on investigate the car.
What i have done so far:
*have added 21mm extra earth cables from battery (-), to engine, ECU and chassis.
*changed the battery
*taken out the fusebox and open it up and cleaned it with electro cleanser (BTW on the "circuit board", some places, it was some slite moore discolouration, copper insted of "silver").
*Ive cleaned the trottle body
*replaced the ECU as far away from the engine ass possible.
*Have also been inside the ECU and resolded some of the pins that have slided down (here i maby have pushed them further than nessesery, but i cant as an electrician understand that this matters)
*The cranckshaft sensor is brand new
*Finnaly i thoght i found the problem, as the ASR fault was very intense and often, i tried a new adwise, try to disconnect the coils one after another, and guess what, once i disconnected the third from the left, the ASR was gone. once i reconnected it came back, i became so got da******* happy, that i probably did this 30 times to be sure. So then i ordered 4 brand new ones of the brand; BOLK BOL-E021045. Reason i ordered all of them was because they all seemed a little weared out, and the price for 4 bolk was almost the same as 1 new from BOSCH.
While i waited for the new coils, i drove the car maby 30-40 minutes every day without the 3rd coil connected, and didnt have on singel problem with it (for almost a week). So finally i recived the new ones installed them, and diconnected the battery for over an hour. And the day after i drove for a 30 mi'nutes ride with no problems, but, THEN when i was going home again, that fuc*** problem returnes after about 5 minutes.
I HAVENT READ THIS ANYWERE, BUT MY MAIN HUNCH (exept the ECU) IS ON SOME OF THE RELAYS ON THE FUSEBOX ISNT ALL RIGHT, its a kind off "irrirrir" sound from a couple of them when i try to start the car.
Last i want to mention about this **** car is;
*The cruice controll doesent work at all, not even the light CC light is apearing, only think that happens when i push the CC button is that i dimming the cocpit light.
*The cocpit fan works only upwards, not the other two ways.
*And also i dont think the car uses all the horsepower it should have, and it uses a loot of fuel.
Now im sick and tired of this car and try my last cry for help on this forum if annyone have som good advice for me??? I havent tried change the door switch or the brake pedal switch yet, but i begin to think that i wont be using moore unnessesery money on hunches!!
