I am new on this forum and I would like to share the problem with my car, a Fiat Stilo 1.6 16V manufacture 2004.After a driving time when the engine heats up, the idling becomes unstable and the rpm starts to fluctuate up and down until the engine stops. I have no caution lights in dashboard and also no errors stored in the ECU scanned with the MultiEcuScan program. I moved the ECU to the battery case to prevent it from getting warm, I cleaned the throttle body, changed the lambda sensorbut without no result. Has anyone ever met this problem and what could be the causes?

Welcome to Fiat Forum.

I have known crank sensors cause this kind of problem with hot stalling, although I would have expected to see a sensor plausibility sort of error with this.

I already change the crank sensor but no change în the car behavior..the sypptoms stil persist
