Tuning fiat seicento s 1998 900cc mods?

hey i need some help its more of what i need and where i can buy and will this work type of questions so i do apoligie for my stupid questions...this is my first car,
I want to modifi my car but not as in power im happy with the 900cc engine its more looks and miby some improvement in the engine bay.
QUESTIONS

1. Iv looked at the engine bay and i was wondering if its possible to upgrade the rubber pipes plus the air filter....i have looked but i can only seem to get ones for the more majour cars such as a vauxhall corsa or a clio ect ect....the universal air filters dont fit mines is like a rubber pipe to a black box with a air filter inside.

2. replacing the front seats..i can get my hands on a set of bmw leather seats sport style..but i was wondering if I could use the old fittings from my orignal seats or would i have to buy complete new fittings

3.body kits ..again iv looked and found plain looking bodkits from place such as madmotors.co.uk

The majority of the answers can be found in the guides and Faqs in your sig.

Standard cone filter in place of the air box will give you more noise.

I think BMW seats will be too wide although IIRC Garyaird11 put them in his. Brackets will need fabricating, and remeber your life depends on the quality of that fabrication.

BMW seats were attempted but removed because they hit the handbrake and you couldnt use the seat belt buckle properly

what do you mean by plain bodykits?

I've not got round to measuring them, but the seats from a (BMW) Mini Cooper S look as though they'll fit. Black leather, not quite as nice (or as uncompromising) as the Recaro Strada Abarth/TC seats, but won't need re-upholstering.

I recon loads of older recaro's out there would fit the cinq . Have a look about on ebay!

you'd be suprised what seats fit, my cobra daytonas are massive seats. I believe they were once in a civic type r and i think they'd look big in there as well nevermind in a cinq lol

like the ford capri recaros in my cinq

they definitley fit, but needed adapting plates made for the mounts

think all recaro from all old ford will fit I also got some ford ones in mine.

New seats probably wont line up with the old brackets so dont forget to put in some strong mountings. Seats simply bolted to the floor can be really dangerous.

My mummy had a manta gte with recaro's when i was a nipper. Nice seats if not a bit plastic-y and grey on the back. Dunno if there was other colour options on the interior.. She had a astra gte for a short while too but i can't remember the inside apart from the dash i was young and the dash was mesmerising lol.

New seats WILL NOT line up with the old brackets so dont forget to put in some strong mountings. Seats simply bolted to the floor ARE really dangerous.

Many colour options for the Manta, most of them very 80s. Astra F GTE was rainbow stripe.

Yellow convertible........is mine.

Currently looks like GTE Exclusive.

Correct engine and box hopefully being fitted this coming winter.
