Scudo Fiat scudo 2.0jtd 2001 turbo not kicking in.

Hello Members...
Please help me as this isssue is worrying me.

I use my fiat scudo to drive 1200km every 2 months to visit my daughter.
Never had a problem with if for 8 years.
I have the oil changed and air filter ect.

2 weeks ago only 400km to go before I reached the Nederlands my turbo was not kicking in going up hill / and not at all.

Although it drives perfectly 3000 revs 120Kph only no turbo and 3000 max.

I changed the Maff thinking this might be the issue.

Still the same issue.... although 1 day the turbo kicked in for a few moments and stopped.

What do you suggest please:bang:

Check rubber hoses for holes/ splits

I had this with my Marea weekend.. also 2001

Some days it worked..some days it didnt

My marea never got fixed.. it was too old and tired to chase this problem..

I bought a 1.3 mj.. cheaper than the 1.9jtd to cover big distances

Thankyou I have today checked all connectors are on oke.
To check the hoses are not leaking I rev the engine at high revs and feel for air.
where is the throttle on a diesel 2.0 Jtd tried to look for it today so simple to miss.
