fiat punto petrol 2004

Hi,

One of my dashboard lights came on yesterday and it is the symbol for Power steering I reckon. I opened the bonnet to see if the oil level had gone down but could not find a separate reservoir for the PS. It is a red steering wheel sign.
I checked for loose wiring etc but nothing was found, now the light has extinguished?

Anyone any ideas please?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

You've got electric power steering so there'll be no reservoir, from what I've read intermittent activation of the PAS error light is often caused by low battery voltage.
