I have a Fiat Punto mk3 2004 1.2 8v, that keeps shutting down constantly if the engine stays on for a while (on neutral)....
It usually doesn't stay on for more than 5 to 20minutes max..
I've been to many mechanics and they all suggested the same reasons, and i changed almost everything they said... the problem is still there.
After the car shuts down, the engine won't turn on it will only stall..
But i still manage to turn it on if i remove the negative jack on the car battery and put it back on again, that way it starts immediatly... otherwise i'll have to wait for around 10minutes to start again.
I've changed the crank sensor, the 'air throat?'... and i've even gone to changing the ECU...
It still shuts down on neutral....
ANYONE who had this problem please help me i don't know where to seek for help anymore :worship:
