General Fiat Punto Active 1.2 2003 find a gear knob!!

Hi,

I recently bought a Fiat Punto Active 1.2 2003 with a blue trim interior. I am looking for a blue LED gear knob to match and found one at halfords which I really like:

However was very disappointed when it didn't fit my gear lever because of my pull up reverse gear lever selection. I was wondering if anyone could help me find a similar item.

i had the same problem but the only place i could find one was ebay sorry

Ive read somewhere that you can remove the lift reverse gear by removing one spring,not sure which one or where but im sure someone else can offer this advice.This way any knob can be fitted

pull the old gearknob off your car holding gear stick at same time so you dont bust anything
fill blue gearknob with epoxy resin or filler
push on
the only thing you have to be careful of is the glue going down onto the shaft between gearlever and lift pin for reverse
dont lose the spring that might ping off when old gearknob smacks you in the face as its the lift spring for reverse and needs putting back on
