Technical Fiat panda no reverse or 5th gear

So I changed the gear cables on my fiat panda 1.1 2006 an I’ve lost 5th gear an reverse now I’ve adjusted cables tried it all still no joy now I did take the gear selector lever off now it feels really slack I’ll add a video should it be like that thanks in advance

Don't know if this is helpful.
Just had the cables replaced on y 2006 panda, today.
It turns out that the left side cable, inside the car, has an adjuster.
It took three goes to get all the gears working properly.
All with this little adjuster.
