Fiat panda 4x4 donor for Jago?

Hi everyone, I’m new to the site, and would appreciate some advice.
Due to a recent bereavement, I have inherited 2 rare Fiat Panda 4x4 cars. One is a 1987 standard 4x4, the other is a 1986 fiat panda Sisley with all the extras and both are low miles.

I am advertising them both, but I have had a thought about using one of them as a donor vehicle and would appreciate any thoughts from you guys!

I have 2 Jago jeeps, kitcars based on the WW2 willys jeep. One I have completely made to look just like the willys jeep, using MK1 Escort Mexico running gear etc, with genuine WW2 additions.
My other Jago is just a bodyshell (tub) and minus mechanicals and chassis.

I was thinking of the possibility of using the fiat 4x4 as a donor to complete what would be a fiat based willys jeep replica. I know the fiat is monocoque body, but do you think it would be possible to cut away the whole top half and attach the jeep tub? Jeep tub comeswith it’s own roll bars and strengtheners, so I was kinda thinking it might be possible? Any thoughts? Ideas? Thanks.

Sorry to hear of the circumstances of your newfound FIAT ownership.

The 4x4's are sought after..with prices raised accordingly.

I am familiar with the Jago.. ford was preferred..and on a visit to their South Coast base.. I was advised my 1100 escort of the time would work.. but be underpowered. PINTO was preferred.

I suspect the little FIRE motor wouldnt be much better.
