Hi guys
I have a 2002 Fiat Palio 1.2EL which im having, what appears to me as mind boggling problems with.
It started about 2 days ago when the car especially when first started would cut out for no apparent reason, starting the car after that was slightly trickier than under normal circumstances.
Last night the car cut out again (as per usual) and refused to start up again. I do have a brand new battery, starter motor as well as alternator in the car, so the engine does turn while trying to start her up (not sure if it turns correctly though because the cam belt doesn't move?).
I do have a spark on all 4 cylinders and their is fuel getting to the injectors.
Could this be a compression issue? Or something as serious as a seized motor? Or could it be something simple like the Crank Sensor (which was also fixed about 6 months ago) or some other sort of sensor switch?
I also would like to point out that when the car did die last night I did hear a feint arcing sound like a relay burning out or a short circuit of some sort? As well as, after trying to start the car im hearing a serial clicking sound coming from the injector region.
If I cant manage to sort out this issue today, I will most likely take her in to fixed by an actual fiat specialist (Which I clearly am not lol)
Thanks guys thoughts are much appreciated.
