Technical Fiat Multipla Bonnet will not open

Bonnet will not open .Can hear the cable operating at the front edge of the bonnet. Short of taking the stihl saw to it any clever ideas????
Need to check th egear linkage as its now jumping out of fourth!!
Never buy a green car.

While pulling the latch some one needs to be at the front pulling up as long as cable is connected could just be stiff if it has a dent in bonnet also if u live in the uk could be frozen cable spray wd 40 in to catches

Thanks Pete. Yep done all that. No dent ....yet. Just checking to see if there was an easy way to do it as if I'd had a problem somebody else will have too.
WD40 tomorrow. Need to get in because it's jumping out of fourth gear!
Suspect the linkage is about to fail ....again.

There is old posts about on here pintos have the same problem and the use mol grips to release the clip on bonnet have a look around

Success. The little handle that pops down when the bonnet first opens was stuck.Bit of wd40 and some gentle leverage on that little handle did the job. It hangs low enough to catch all the crap of the day so was just seized. Another fine design.
