Can anyone please help me. Fiat Multipla with 106k on the clock has never let me down since ive owned it. Its our main work horse and ferries the kids around every day hence my annoyance when it failed to start this morning. My wife took it out as normal and came home. I then went out to start it up and it failed to start. Car turns over as normal but fails to fire. Immobiliser all seems to be ok as per manual. Glow plug light doesnt come on at all, cant say ive ever known it to (i think bulb may have gone?). Ive had a look online and people make reference to crank sensor, although i have never had problems with it cutting out at all and even now after it has cooled down it still refuses to catch and fire. Had green flag out who just scratched his head to be honest. I did tell him about crank sensor but he ruled this out when he plugged his diagnostic machine in which gave a reading when the car turned over so he said that this was fine. He also ruled out fuel problems in the same way. Only thing he could think of was the cam sensor which as he told me i could see £$£$£ signs. Can anyone help with anything i could check as im not afraid to get my hands dirty and dont fancy getting ripped off at my local garage. Crate of beer to anyone who can diagnose correctly lol...
