I've just bought a marea weekend 105 jtd.

I was driving up a hill unloaded on the M62 doing 70 when a Honda jazz with 3 people in pulls alongside.

No word of a lie I could not pull away from it(

Does that sound about right or what?

i think you'd need to know the bhp per ton of each car to be able to compare. I'd suspect it to be right though.

Yeah my marea 1.9 jtd is 82 bhp per tonne:-s

But my marea 1.8 saloon only has 94 bhp per tonne and that is massively quicker than my diesel.

Does torque not play a part in that equation?
