I will go with the flow But I think a dinner + drinks is the way to go £46 will push it outside most peoples costs with petrol and accommodation + drinks.

there is little britain live at the nec, and rooms that can sleep 4 at the plazza are about £70 and they do food :idea:

Yes it was a bloody good night last year but I think the price this year is well over the top
We will all have to look around and see what is available, I take it Birmingham is the city of choice.

Yes Brum is the best place, or around that area. It is central and easy to get to off motorways

Not a dodgy pub A nice family pub kind of place with cheap drinks and big platefuls of food. Much as I like them, posh restaurants aren't for a lot of people.

I have suggested hiring a room but i think it will be costly. room about £200 + DJ £100 + buffett £150 guestimate though

There is a big Chinese restaurant called Wing Wah in Coventry, which will be a good place to all meet and have a xmas meal.

There is also one in Brum, just a mile or so away from the M6 Junction 6. Either one will be easy to find/get to. The one in Coventry is in the Guiness Book of Records for having the longest buffet table, or some such thing. And they have a massive choccy fountain, too....:yum:

Decent enough food for about £13 per head or so.

I am sure Charlotte must have eaten there....especially if she is based at Queens Road!!:devil: :slayer: :worship:
