Technical Fiat Ducato - Power Loss when driving

.."big foot syndrome". Most disconcerting when it happens, but resets after a few seconds (and I'm pretty sure the code clears itself after a somewhat longer interval).
So you have heard of this happening ????? Never experienced anything like that before quite frightening when you have an Artic up your rear Honking at you & it won't go .My Mechanic has worked on Van's quite a lot & never seen this before. It's only done it once on me & I'm now paranoid , looking down where my right foot is .

Yup. Twice in many years I think, with that code confirmed by MES. The inconsistent signals cause a temporary loss of power. If you think about it, the safest option is probably for the vehicle to trust the brake signal. Your brake lights will be on, but if someone is too fast and close up your chuff........

Not sure how hard you have to hit both pedals at once for it to manifest itself, but you can always test it on an empty road (uphill would probably be best)

Must have been very lightly as I didn't know I had..... the Pedals are close together on the Comformatic as said in Post but making sure now it doesn't happen again as don't want to change my Motorhome as we Love it, thanks for your responce 👍.

Well after having the Diagnostics done & clearing Faults just drove up to Glencoe in Scotland & back to the Midlands with no issues 👍🤞🤞
