I am a little confused, when collecting my motorhome from storage, before I turned ignition on, the hazard warning light was illuminated, upon trying to start, battery was flat, so I am questioning has anyone come across with the same problem, no fuse to identify as was going to remove it.
Thanks for any response

Any idea what your motor home base vehicle is ? Ah I see in title you say ducato
What year it was made?
Engine type?
Engine size?
Fuel type?

How long has it been in storage?
Was the battery left connected?

Ps site help/feedback is for the forum website , not to ask for vehicle help. In future try posting in different section

Its a 2.3 diesel 130
Have motorhome connected to mains at home, hazard light is still lit when ignition not in operation, doesn't even go off when vehicle is locked

Which year was it made?

How long was it in storage?

Was the battery left connected while in storage?

Do not disconnect battery without following the correct proceedure or you risk damaging the electronic control units in vehicle and or corrupting the imobiliser rendering the vehicle impossible to start.

Illuminated hazard light button could be result of flat battery at storage. Or because you have connected to mains power- does mains power automatically charge the starter battery on your moho?

You are not giving us the information to go on.

When in storage battery is connected to 100watt solar panel, so trickle chargers, i go to it probably 3-4 times a month just to check it

Year of construction? Ie what year was it made?

So starter battery left connected during storage and battery was flat when you tried to collect?

What type of charge controller do you have between solar panel and starter battery?

Does your mains power automatically charge the starter battery?

Year of manufacture 2006,
Starter battery left connected, only 14 months old
Sargent controller E350
Mains charges both starter and leisure, Sargent controller split charges both batteries

Is the vehicle an x244, or an x250 model? If not sure please read first three numbers of VIN. (2006 was model change year.)

E350 ? Or ec50?

Have checked the solar system actually providing power to battery when is should?

Stored outside or inside?

It is perfectly possible to destroy a battery in 14 months by it going flat.

Check the battery is actually charging now connected to mains power.

I agree with the highlighted suggestion. It is worth noting that some habitation 12V systems allow selection of either the starter or the habitation battery. The selected battery is used to supply the 12V habitation system, and only the selected battery receives charge from the mains charger.
