Hi everyone,

I came across this helpful thread when trying to search for some parts for my Fiat based motorhome

My basic question is, its an old van, i need to get rid of it. I've not used it for a few years for personal reasons which now need finishing once and for all so the van needs to be got rid of.

I have the same (i believe) engine as the thread i linked the 2006 with the 2.8JTD, currently the van still starts perfectly and is driveable but has failed MOT. My plan was MOT and sell. But the MOT came up with some issues, the worst being front subframe, needs replacing and 4 tires, exhaust (probably repairable). Other things were minor stuff like bulbs and the like, but these 2/3 are big issues. I started searching for the correct subframe and got lost in a maze of its a 2007 plate van but is probably 2006 as 2.8 was not fitted to 2007 years. I have someone who can do the subframe so that is not an issue, i just need to source one and so far i've not matched the exact one, which i may come back and ask further questions about to ensure if i go this route i get one.

The big question is do i do all this then try and sell or do i just list on ebay as an auction now for a low price and see what happens. Clearly a driveable van is a lot easier for someone to take than one that needs to be put on some kind of loader.

Just looking for advise as i'm lost in the wilderness.

Thanks!
