Hello I have fiat ducato 2005 swb 2.0jtd was all working as should then randomly started making noise when engine is on like bit of rattling sort of sound from engine on left side could it be a pulley or bearing on alternator or belt?? Louder when you rev it and bit smoke

Uk drivers side : belts and pulleys

Uk passenger side : clutch

Smoke.. from where?

It sounds like it needs attention.

Smoke from the exhaust.. could be:

oil

Water (coolant)

Or overfuelling

Needs to be Seen really.
