Hi, I've taken my vehicle reg Nov 2006 to three different garages, each diagnosed a different fault for what seemed like Fuel starvation/flooding! Finally I decided to go to a Fiat garage on 2nd December. A diagnosis came up "from Fiat" through their computer that it was a faulty injector. This apparently has been repaired and tested again, paid the bill of £331 left garage at 5.10pm and by 5.40pm the same fault reappeared and the engine management light came back on. This is the first time in 53 years of driving that I feel completely at a loss to understand why the fault couldn't be found, diagnosed and put right. I was told it seems OK at the moment but it might be another problem. I do know that the engine management light can be switched off through the computer so that it appears OK, until the fault shows itself again! I find this service unbelievable. I'm told Fiat do have a fuel problem, can anyone shed any light on this please. Due to go abroad middle January! The vehicle has done 66000 and up until now I've been lucky not to have had any problems, but now!
