Fiat Cinquecento Alarm System Help

Hi, newbie here to fiats alltogether and have to say very happy at the moment with my Fiat Cinquecento, cant wait to start the mods.

Anyways was wondering if anyone could help me out here.

I have purchsed a cyclone car alarm system, and i have the everything installed except one thing that i cant work out.

it has an auto electric windows feature so as when you arm the car it rolls the windows up for you.

I cant work out how to get it working i have tried everything, i dont know what information you guys need to help me out here so just ask and ill post iy up for you..

Need to connect it to the up circuit for the windows.

Some alarms need add on's for this function to work though

I have tried to connect it from the back of the Window switches, but nothing i try seems to work, and my alarm system has it built in. im well impressed with the alarm it self just need to get this part installed and im fully operational

I believe it to be - but i also have a + wire spare that the instructions say goes to the Door trigger, however i belive this to be wrong. i think it is a + Window trigger.

No that is correct as you sometime have +ve locking feed rather than -ve so they put both in and you'll only need to use one and have the other spare.

The windows -ve'ly switched then

HI Mate your car needs total closure but it has not got it
Carefull tapping onto wires when your not sure what you are doing or damage may occur
You will need a 2 window closure unit this open circuits the window wire and feeds direct to motors they have thermal cutouts to stop burning motors out

i dont understad this mate,


as for the closing relay it is built into the alram system its self, i have a farily good idea what i am doing, but this has got me completely stumped

Total closure iirc is when the windows are one touch (push button and let it go and windows go all the way up, or down). Don't need to hold the button.

I think thats what these add on kits I said about in an earlier post do

Total closure is when you lock the car with the key hold it in the lock position and this will close all electric windows ie- total closure not one touch
if your alarm has one wire then this will do total closure
if ur alarm as u say has relays built in i doubt it you would have minimum 2 wires per window

Description says

3. Power Windows:
Press the ( Arm button ) on the transmitter once, the siren would chirp once, the flash lights would gleam once. The power window system would be closed one window by one window wich time is 15 seconds.

Wiring diagram says

Red = Window Trigger ( -)
Green = Door Trigger ( + )
Blue = Door Trigger ( - )

I connected the Green to the Door Trigger ( + ), but this caused problems with the parked warning system never switching off, i removed this and all is well, so i believe this is a print error and is Window Trigger ( + ).

as has been said, it sounds like the alarm can just trigger a total closure system - it does not include one. i have a toad alarm and that has a configurable output that i have used to trigger a total closure module that i have added to the car.

Yes Arc you are correct as i stated you only have neg out whilst armed to trigger total closure
Blue to doors and red to extra window closure module

slight thread hijack - but Ian, do you know of any closure modules that do both windows at once, and can also sense when the window is fully closed. My module is dumb, and will only close the windows whilst the trigger is pulled to ground and also will only do one window at a time (i appreicate this is due to the amount of current it'd need to pull through the module)

would u recommend this alarm or are there others out there that arent too expensive that are good?
