Dump Valve Guide

I have made a recording of the Dump Valve, but i must admit its very poor quality. In case you can't hear it, its at the end of every peak of the revs, it sounds like a 'SWOOOOSSSH'. I just sat in my car and rev'd the car to 3.5K and let off.

I have tried my best to record it with what i have but sadly its not great. I will one day try to get a better sound clip but to be honest it sounds much better in person.

I have tried converting it to MP3 but it made it sound 10 times worse. So dont attempt it, otherwise it'll sound even worse.

The sound can be opened in quicktime when you remove the .txt on the end.

Cheers carterado, glad the guide works, i couldn't see there being a problem.

I've asked my brother to drop off his dictafone tomorrow, so hopefully that will pick up better sound from the dump valve.

I must say.. it sounds like my dads tractor! and so does the wooshing sound.. as the tractor has air clutch on the P.T.O...

anyways.. looks really good.. just need to save every page now to print it out... grrrrr

Any chance of send me the guide please.. It wont let me copy the pages.. and if i print them all out.. theyonly appear very spall.. so to save paper i'd like to put at least 3 on 1 page..

Seeing my cars on tick over and that cars accelerating, hmmm, of course it sounds better.

My car from instead when i rarely put my foot down, it sounds beasty!

Love the JTD and its excellent fuel economy.
