Super cool if you know what they are. Most don't. Even in the fiat community these days they get overlooked as nothing special. Funny as I would say they are probably the best fiat from the mid to late 90s. They're certainly better than the Stilo that came after them.

yeah had both and i'd agree with that, although the HGT is top spec and my stilo was poverty spec... Never been in the top end Stilo, Schumacher i suppose?? I did really like my Stilo though, very very underated car!

To be fair, most Fiats are catastrophically underrated in the UK.

Would have been a game changing hot hatch of Fiat put the turbo engine in there as standard. Lucky a fair few of us remedied that oversight.

to be fair, a 20vt stilo mw would be a very cool and uber stealth machine - i always talked about doing it when i had a stilo mw but it was nothing more than a workhorse really and turning it into a monster wasn't really an option

A couple of Torque Italia guys have used the 2.5 Stilo block with forged pistons and Coupe' turbo bits to make 600bhp.

That's like the mk2 Punto really. Early 1s will be 16 years old this year, but a nice example still looks modern and stylish. Its such a shame they're starting to scrapyards in high numbers.

Great car love the sound of the 20v engine when rev'ed. My son has a 2000X reg Bravo 155HGT in yellow. I bought the car when it was 9 months old and its been in our family ever since. Its in fantastic condition and done around 80k miles from new. I will try and post a photo of it when I can work out how to do it.

It has a 5 cylinder engine. That is definitely sub zero.

I had a Marea HLX 20v, one car I really miss.
