Hi everyone,
Up until a couple of years ago I owned a X1/9 and used to come here regularly, but since I bought the 850 Sport Coupé haven't been here quite so often.

Here's "la machina", some two years ago, freshly bought. After this picture it all went downhill, had to replace the water pump, clean the radiator, had a small electrical fire, found out the engine was toast, found out the engine may not be toast after all, but the fuel pump certainly was, did some work on the brakes and steering and fuel system and electrics,...
Anyway, mine is an early 2nd series from 1968, assembled in Portugal, so some details differ from the italian cars. The electrical bits are mostly FEMSA, identical to the SEAT 850 Coupé.
Does anyone out there have a pattern for the roll up door glass? Mine were pretty badly scratched, and them I tried to pollish them... but don't want to disassemble the door without having a glass to replace.
Another thing that I find annoying is the carpet: it doesn't stay fixed to the A-pillar and it looks bad. I can't figure out if I'm missing the bit of trim that holds the carpet, or if mine was fixed like the 1sr series, with a PVC profile.
Thanks,
Pedro
