fiat 850 engine number,

hi all, I think i have a fiat 850 rear engine, which i would like to identify,
on the block casting there is 100G, The Engine number stamped on the block
reads 100G 002 1652066, The head has casting no.100GBC 4183553
can a member let me know?

Indeed sir, you have an 850 engine. The 850 model was introduced in 1966 with a saloon version with the 100 G.000 engine (standard version). In 1967 the the super version was introduced with the more powerful 100 G.002 which is what you have. 843cc, 42hp (SAE) @ 5300 rpm.
