General Fiat 1.2 60s keeps up with fiat punto sporting!?!

I must say that my punto mk2 8v is fast at accelerating etc.. (probably faster than other 8v's?), sometimes I think it's a 16v, but I guess that's just wishful thinking.

Mind you I do take it to 70mph in 3rd when overtaking

I hit 80 in 3rd, in my mk1 60s!!!

my sporting will keep up with a 1.4 and 1.8 ford focus and a MG ZR 1.6, my sx60 was terrible i wouldnt even try to race anything in that

my mate had a sporting aswell he was keeping up with a 2.0 Williams 2

Hmm, interesting, just tried mine now and I managed 100km/h in 3rd at 6k rpm.

at 7k I get till 105~110km/h

This happend today :-

Mk2 Stalkin me.. nice done up.. started buggin me.. so i sped up abit.. he insisted on bein up my ass.. And then we came to traffic lights.. him revvin his engine.. and I thought.. bah what the hell... And i went for it.. LMAO i lost him in 35 seconds.. was hilarious.. I got a Punto 55 SX, Standard Engine.. I also noticed my car's abit powerful... not complaining though

Same engine, different ecu and electronics cause of more strict emissions laws so it has to be slightly slower.

55s/sx (5dr)- 16.0 seconds

60s/sx (both)- 14.0 seconds

Punto Mk2-

1.2 (60bhp)- 13.8 seconds

yeah they make 1.4 8v clio's usually the RT model the 1 above my RL model and mine is 8v as well
