Few spots of rust

My Brava has got two spots of rust - one each side of the boot where the rubber seal of the windscreen deposits the water (when the boot is closed) onto the inside of the boot. Because of it's position it is virtually hidden when the boot is closed, but the rust colour (rather than the actual rust) seems to be slowly staining paint that you can see, just to the edge of the boot.

So, what can I use to seal this so the rust doesn't spread - and how on earth do I determine what colour I have so I can see about touching it up ?? It's a kind of goldy/silvery green, MK1 (1996) - Fiat used this colour in some of their promotional brochures and I've seen it described as both gold and green !!

clean the rust colour off the paintwork with T-cut or autoglym paint renovator, and then rub down to good metal not savaging surrounding paint-work. You can then paint with zinc oxide or some other suitable primer and then paint with the fiat colour which you should find the code for on the boot lid on a silver sticker.
