FEED ME PLEASE

Has anybody had any probs with the oil feed (sprinkler) pipe which sits above the cam on bravo's. Mine's a 1400 and i think it's blocked or not working to the best of it's ability. Too paranoid to drive it incase it blow's ma wee beauty up.

hello mate!

I work for a fiat dealer and have seen this before..the main cause is that the wrong grade oil has been put in. Make sure you use Selenia 20k which is available from any fiat dealer.

... Took it appart today mate and it's not blocked. oil is running through fine. There is a clanging sound coming from it ( please see post called feed me further down page). Have you got any idea wot it can be?

if you have a noise comming from your engine its not sounding good...we have done a couple of the 1.4's before...to get them going again some have needed new camshaft, cam followers and new tappets the total bill can run into hundreds!!!...best you take it into a garage for them to have a look at it
