FB virus warning

If you get tagged in a pic that offers to turn your FB page to pink or a choice of other colours DO NOT click on it. Its a virus that asks you to enter your mobile number then calls you and charges you for the calls. Another one circulating has keylogger software and will try and steal your passwords.


As most of you are male I doubt if you are in a rush to get a pink FB page but please let your ladies know.

No offence Fiona, but anyone who falls for any of these things should delete their FB profiles, just hover over the link for a second before you click it and it's normally blatantly obvious that it's a scam.

I agree and I didnt personally fall for it, I saw it pop up in my newsfeed, a friend of mine had been tagged in it by one of HER friends. I know people (elderly for example) who WOULD fall for it.

I have one older relative who clicked on something a few weeks back and ended up with a pic of someone having anal sex on his page - and no he is NOT the type to do that. Some people can be very gullible in my experience.
