Faulty Mileometer (or whatever it's called)

My Mileometer (the LED thing that records total mileage ?!) works 1% of the time .... the bulb is fine, but it just doesn't appear to be powered. I can still see the LED unlit when there is bright sunshine so I know that is working OK as well. Very, very occasionally when I turn the car on it will light up but the next time I start it, it's gone again

Where do you suggest I look for the (apparent) loose connection ?

dash

take the dash apart. you need to remove the surround of the dials with allen keys and then the pod itself. you can then get at all the wires behind easily and check the bulbs too. is v easy, takes about 10 mins to get apart!

p.s. whilst you are in there you could pop in some lcokwood dials like mine!
