I don't believe this, and you may not either! Having bought a new Bravo HLX sept'01 I noticed the rear fog light wasn't working. After inspection by my local Fiat dealership, they traced the fault to the central console switch and ordered a replacement.

Having just received the car back from the garage, with switch replaced, I decided to test the rear fog light. All was OK! After a few moments of trying all the switches and checking for illumination, it would appear the front fogs have now gone...!

Is this a commom fault? After dredging through this site since buying the bravo, I've not once come across this problem.

Has anyone any suggestions before I return it to the garage, once again?

Cheers in advance

Faulty?

Not that i'm aware of... but taking a new Fiat back to the garage to get things put right is quite common...

I had two replacement dashboards (dials etc.) on my car as the fuel guage bounced up and down like mad. if you turned left you had a full tank, right and it was totally dry...

Don't know what it is with them, but once it's put right and does work things tend to be fine from then on... (o:

I have had the same problem with my 1.8, the front fogs stopped working for no reason. I checked the switch in the centrel console, it was ok, then the relay, which is behind the the glove box, that too is ok. There was power leaving the relay but there wasnt any power at the fogs. I have to trace the wires to the fogs this weekend, they are housed in the 2 ducts in the engine bay.
best of luck,
Tony
