I suspect you've been talking about the injectors all along as you have to really search to find the glowplugs (it isn't even possible to touch them).
You need to completely ignore the "Preheat Fault" as this only becomes an issue if you can't start the engine.
The engine warning light is far more important and almost certainly relates to the problem injector. From what you say it sounds like it could be just an electrical contact problem.
