Hi everyone
I'm hoping that someone can help
My problem is on a fiat ducato 2012 3.0 180bhp

This problem as been from only 12 miles on the clock and as come n gone for the last two years

co sensor intermittent fault its had new wiring new sensors and still the light comes on.

it was in at the dealers yesterday and had another new sensor the light came back on before I got out of their car park. They put machine on and it and it was the same fault. They tell me they will email fiat. So again I'm waiting for answer.

Is there anyone who can throw some light on this prob or as got the same thing

Craig

How much wiring was replaced?

It either is intermittant e.g. sensor, wiring, bad earth.

Or the ecu thinks its intermittant e.g. water ingress, corrosion, bond wires in ecu fractured, ecu components dry soldered, damaged, electrical noise etc.

If it came on that quickly it should be easy enough to monitor live data and poke around the wiring, ecu loom, connectors

I would put money on it being water ingress to wiring mate,
Had same on my identical model, although mine was glow plug and turbo warnings, they cleaned up loads of connectors, changed glow plugs, turbo variable vein sensor thingy (which I believe has been superseded since for modified part due to water ingress) and other items, it only stopped when I replaced scuttle trims and sealed plus added drainage, see my thread with pictures posted last summer,

Like mine and most vans they sit in a field, compound for months, I looked at three in a compound and all had raised warped scuttle seals allowing water ingress
