After seeing the footage on the news and hearing his surname I called a friend of mine to ask if she knew him, she does he's her cousin Ben. He lives a few miles away from me in Wednesfield and I find it hard to believe its really him because he's always been so nice when I've met him.

Just goes to show how wrong you can be, first impressions, always well dressed, drives a nice Audi etc.

The guys a menace and deserves everything he got.

The guy was jailed for 9 years for a string of raids and robberries.

'The court heard how the modified Audi RS5, worth £85,000, was stolen from Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, in August 2011.

Police said the car was then linked to 16 raids across Staffordshire, Shropshire and the West Midlands, including incidents at a bowling alley and a jewellers.

The raids took place between August 2011 and January 2012, during the course of which the car, originally white, was sprayed silver and then black.'

He certainly does "drive a nice Audi" Shady!
I like how the news report said that from the helicopter camera you could see that the tyres were on fire! I think that may have been the exhausts somehow.

Fixed it for you.

The amount of OUR money that is wasted bringing these cretins to book is staggering.
Instead of fitting the helicopters with state of the art gadgets, I suggest a simple missile launcher, guided by laser.

Why an hour to stop the thievin git though? Surely the fuzz could have blown his brains over the dash board with a huge piece and saved the tax payers money.

I still don't get why people bother running, they always seem to get caught. Perhaps once the helicopter arrives people should just give up.
