I know, I read it, fair play to you, but I decided to just get the piece from FIAT as I couldnt wait on a flexipipe to be posted out and then set about grinding the old unit and spot welding the new one back in, the flexi was hanging down bouncing around all over the place and I wasnt sure if the originals connecting bolty bit was broken or not.
Thanks all the same, if anyone else has this problem and decided to do what I did, it takes patience, a lot of pulling and pushing and brute force as well as a second pair of hands and safety safety safety with the jacks ramps,etc but its doable in an hour or so.
size 12 and 13 spanners required, plenty of plusgas and GumGum exhaust sealer to go at the front end where you bolt the new flexi section onto the down pipe from the engine.
